The heavy factoy Ruger#1 should be the .375H&H. They're very accurate, easy to shoot well, and more than needed - perfect. : On the other hand, the #1A that I had in 7X57 was very nicely accurate, and adequate for all game here, in B.C. ; I'd go the .375 for a factory gun. I've shot quite a few, owned only one .375H&H, and regret selling it. : That's why I just built up a rifle that almost duplicates the .375H&H. My .375/'06ICL IMP comes to within 100fps of factory H&H ammo with all bullet weights. : I'll never be without a .375. It's a great calibre, very accurate and easy to shoot, ulike my .458 M70 Alaskan that duplicates the .458 Winchester. |
