This morning I ran across a nice Thomas Bland single shot rifle. It is currently for sale. I don't own it. I'm not promoting it. I know nothing more about it than what I see in the listing. These don't appear often, and it might be an opportunity for somebody to acquire a nice English break-open hammer single shot rifle. It classifies as an antique in the U.S., so it should be simple to import. Here's a link: https://martinigunmakers.com/for-sale/thomas-bland-sons-44-40/ And here are the photos. I have archived them to the NE.com server. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm tempted myself, but I'm trying to pull back the reins. The years are creeping up on me. It reminds me a bit of my Rigby; but in my opinion, it's not filed up quite as nicely. Still, it's a screamer. I like the caliber too.
