I have my double for anything cranky, not that there's anything like that around where I live.
But spent a few years up around Darwin and had some rather cranky encounters.
But around here it's pretty much deer and foxes, so a single round of 30/06 does me just fine. It would do me for pigs out west too but I'd rather have that 2nd shot for other pigs in the mob.
One round of the hornet will do me for foxes, bunnies and eating goats at a mates place I trap at.
I'm definitely thinking about a 9.3x74R barrel for my K95 also, I've grown pretty fond of that round.
