Lancaster, Much to my surprize I do not find the Selous plates to be uncomfortable on my G Gibbs in 303, (obviously re barrelled from something more interesting), even in the 40 deg C temperatures here in France, I am sure this is due to the fact that the plates are very thin, and closely fitted the stock , I have not yet tested them in sub zero temperatures.
