The Pachmayr had to be flipped up for each shot. Did put the scope nice and low though.
Tasco had built in rings and actually worked out fairly well.

Must be something to do with the geometry of the bolt handle? I've never had to do that with any of the Pachmayr's; I only flip to load. I never knew Tasco made swing mounts. The only other ones I've used are Weavers, but they're top mounts.
