Lancaster is right. Just another Zella - Mehlis made rifle on a simplified M71 type action. As Lancaster wrote, such actions were made in many sizes by many small makers, sort of a "cottage industry". Here, like most often, the Mauser flag safety and the bolt stop screw + washer were left off. No relation to the Dreyse, Soemmerda factory who had their own quite rare patented bolt action designs.

As you see, this action is barely large enough to handle a .32-20 cartridge
