Hi all,
I just picked up a Ruger 1B in 22-250 that I am thinking of having either rechambered/rebored or rebarreled. I also will have open sights installed and a front sight so recommendations there are also appreciated. I just don't varmit hunt anymore. I would use this SS for large game from Whitetail Deer, Black Bear, Wild Boar, on up to Elk/Moose. Mostly it would be used in the Adirondack Mtns of NY State where Bear and Deer are on the agenda and the shooting is fast in that dense forest. One shot is all you'll get. Or in Canada for Moose/Caribou. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I do like the classics, so let's have fun with this. Thanks....RW
