I recently took possession (for storage, and possible sale), of a STUNNING Herbert Streitmeier, Kipplauf/break barrel, single shot (hammer gun), in 6.5 x 57R.
It comes with a Zeiss 6 x fixed power, rail scope, in a claw mount.

It is basically, the same as this;

..... but with deep cut relief engraving, including game scene's (Chamois & Roe Deer, etc), and it also has Fish Scale checkering (correct term?), and very nice stock wood.

It is a low serial number (two digit= 0XX) in Very Good condition (small spots of corrosion on the barrel, at the juction of the forend barrel channel, with the barrel and some other small stock dings, etc). If not for this, it would be in Excellent condition.

Does any body know what these are fetching these days?
