This is an old thread but there is a theme here that is as relevent now as it has ever been: “Selling off a firearm and being left with the “accessories” such as brass, bullets, etc. I made the mistake a couple of times of selling off brass, bullets, and dies for a rilfe in a caliber I was no longer interested in, only to find a few years later a deal on something I just had to have in that very caliber. I now hang on to the brass, dies, and bullets, because one never knows when one is struck by the “fever”...... As an example, I have lots of brass and bullets and even several boxes of factory .470NE ammo and no .470NE rifle to be seen - BUT if is stumble upon a lovely double at the right price that I just MUST have, well, you never know!!!! So, the fodder can just stay in the tool box where it isn’t hurting anything until maybe one day I’ll use it. When I’m so old and feeble that all I want is a nice bowl of pablum for dinner, then just maybe I’ll rationalize my stash!!!!
