Cool rifle - WEIRD front sight dovetailing. I've never seen that before. Due to the dovetail's shape, I'd just about lay odds it is original - however, it is pretty weird shape in the blade and it's 'finish' is off.

I wish they would not put those rear sights so close to the eye - harder to see the older I get.
