This is my first ever 'custom' project- I was a student and funds were scarce! My ex bought the barrel (Ferlach) at a closedown sale, I got the action from a mate and yet another mate did the restocking, his first ever stocking job. I then took the rifle to one of South Africa's foremost engravers, Armin Winkler, and asked him to engrave it. He asked me how much I wanted to spend on the engraving, I opened my wallet and had R 500.00 in it which I it gave to him. That gents, are the equivalent of $50.00 at the time! While not perfect, it was the first of many projects and my love for singles grew from this little baby!
