Purchased in 1926 by Elton Clark who was a wealthy cotton broker from Boston who hunted in Africa prior to WWI, was in the Red Cross in France during WWI, and hunted bear in Alaska and even had one species names after him. Unclear what Mr Clark hunted with this one but Most definitely NOT a rook rifle. |
