I'm pretty sure I recall a Navy Arms Martini, in 45-70 and also .444 Marlin, being available back in the 1970s. As I recall it was offered as a target rifle.

Don't quote me but I suspect it's more than capable of shooting any 45-70 ammo you care to run through it.
