I have a SS Ruger #1 in 35 Whelen. I replaced the sights with sights from a Ruger African in 375R, they fit right in. Vertical was perfect at 75m and I played with horizontal and got it shooting really well.

The sights are a bit big and course for fine work but for snap shooting at 50m, they are great.
