Thanks for the replies! I've owned a few NO 1's in other calibers, and they've always shot fairly well. I was really just wanting to talk to you guys about the 450/400 in particular. How does the full house load recoil in this gun? I had one in 458 win awhile back and it seemed to recoil more than a bolt gun of similar weight, and actually cracked the stock a little. Hopefully this one won't suffer a similar fate. I also plan to try some 41 mag bullets for some deer/practice loads. Has anyone tried this?
