May look similar to the Martini from above, but it is a true falling block. The hinge pin is the one of the underlever, which covers the whole underside of the action. The long falling block contains a coil spring + striker lock similar to the Martini lockwork. The underlever moves the breechblock straight up and down. Franz v.
