yesterday I had the pleasure to help an older gentleman to load new 11,15x60 cartridges for his büchsflinte - combination gun now in use for over 100 years in his family. the old gun is allways prefers for a properly roe deer hunt. the gun dont have any safety and is cock by the grip and uncock by the small lever behind. an unknown action to me but maybe someone here had seen it before. there was the name of a dealer in Frankfurt /Main on the barrels. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the little lever uncock again ![]() ![]() ![]() 70 grains Swiss BP No. 2 under a 350 grains lead bullet ![]() ![]() ![]() the buttstock was replaced sometimes in the last hundreds years ![]() the gentleman still remember his first driven hunt as a boy when his grandfather was shooting two fallow deers in a second with the 11,15x60R in the right and a 16 ga brennecke in the left barrel with this gun |
