How about one wrapped with electrical tape and wire. also saw one repaired with a hose clamp.( just kidding) So far everyone I have seen with a side plate and screws was a repair they listed as a Selous side plate and it didn't help the sale price it killed it. I will say that I think they are really cool if they were done right and the patina is there. But for some reason people cant resist polishing the brass screws and plate.
