P.S. Here's a view of the James Woodward "Automatic" double rifle I referred to. I posted it on NE.com also, but couldn't find it right off.

It's a black powder express double made in 1891. It was later submitted for nitro proof, but it still is a BPE, and so wonderful at that. As I said, I shoot it nitro-for-black.
