I believe that anybody who is just learning to shoot should start with a single shot firearm.Iff they only have one shot they are going to try and make it count. Ive seen people and not just kids start with a semi auto or pump gun, there attitude is in a lot of cases "iff I dont get it with the first shot then I have plenty more to follow. As a kid I was allowed one bullet per day to hunt with and as long as I came home with a rabbit or duck I was given another bullet for the following day. Iff I came home empty handed I missed a day or two before I went out hunting again.. Single shot shooters are no better or worse than any other shooter as long as they have been taught properly and respect the animal they are hunting byshooting it humanely with a one shot kill.. Any comments ? Al |
