That is very interesting Grenadier, thank you, I think you could go quite a bit more in the Ruger action how ever. the JDJ is used mostly in the much lighter TC action .

Will they be any extra 320gr bullets made by the company you commissioned them from, as my Styer 375 NE takes the heavier load as well .

I will be following your project with great interest as I would like set up a Lee Speed type rifle in a 40Cal cartridge that can push a 400Gr slug to 2000, do you think your .405 Grenadier will be about to do that with safe pressure ?

I have been playing with the idea of 40/60 Maynard or 40-Krag - 40/303, maybe a shortened 405Win (with the 400grs) .
