I saw a vintage Webley & Scott break action single in 500NE last year which was very similar to your rifle.
Definitely load up some reduced loads. The enjoyment factor of this gun will be huge and it could potentially become an all around rifle for you.
Cpt. Curl has worked up NfB loads for a few 500BPE rifles and I would think any of these would work great in your rifle.
