Re: Ruger No1 9.3x74 thoughts?

Regarding similar calibres:

2 x .222 Remington bolt actions (one is a M03 barrel), 1 x .222 Rimmed Martini-Henry, 1 x .223 Combination rifle/shotgun (barrel set).

In 6.5mm - 6.5x53R, 6.5x55, 6.5x54 M-S (all three of these are ex-mil rifles and fairly rough and cheap), 6.5x65 RWS (barrel).

In .30 - .308, .30-06. Plus 2 x .303's, 1 x 8x68S (barrel). Oops I also have a .30-06 double rifle (barrel set).

9.3x74R, .375 H&H Mag. I want a .375 Flanged DR, 9.3x62 (barrel) and perhaps a .350 Rigby. Which really would be redundant and silly all of these.

Of course some of the above I hardly use. Which is a sin in my opinion. My view has always been "why more guns, why not use the money for more hunting?" So breaking my own philosophy. One day may reverse this and start to sell off again to rationalise.

Some of the above are not complete rifles, but barrel sets for multi-barrel firearms, such as the Mauser M03, and the Tikka/Valmet/Finnclassic U/O double rifle, shotgun combination firearm.

Some are crappy ex-military rifles for future projects on the "never-never".
