I think it depends on what chambering you are choosing. The Frasers are very nice, very smooth but the underlevers such as the Farqs, Westley 1897 and 1902 Webleys give the shooter that extra ooomph for case extraction. Not such a big deal today as it was in the old days when they were new. As far as aesthetics, I think they are all beautiful in different ways, even the big '02 Webley. Remember, there are many variations and sizes of the Gibbs Farq, a couple differing sizes of trade Farq and three for the '02 Webley so the rifle can be tailored to the cartridge and purpose. |
