I currently have 3 Ruger No 1's, a 9.3x74R,a 405 Win,a 450/400. I would not hesitate taking any of the three to Africa to use on most any game with no trepidations at all. I would PREFER handloads with Woodleigh bullets against dangerous game. Would be perfectly happy with factory ammo against most any plains game with any of the three.
