Wow. Really unfortunate. His shop is about 30 minutes from my house, and Dave replaced some sights on an original Sharps 1874 Business Rifle for me. While we were there I spent a bunch of time looking over his rolling blocks and he built a great rifle, including a copy of the Gove underlever (I spent a bunch of time gawking at that one).
