Dang - I was hoping for a top shot with the 'bolt/block' pulled back.

The Sharps models of breechloading rifles of 1849 to 1863 used a paper ctg. The action had an outside hammer and a nipple for ignition via cap or compound in a blister on a tape (maynard tape primer). Similar physics, different action. Either this one or the Sharps could be loaded with loose components. Modern made models of the Sharps made in the USA or Italy are available today.
