a Waldläufer in 12/70 and 22 lr from Michelitsch, Ferlach. in 2008 it get a Swarovski 3-9x36, a new blueing for the barrels and new side plates because the old ones are lost. the selector is visible on the right side plate. very tastful engraving and I hope it comes into the hands of a good craftsman how is able to restore it so good as possible.
Lancaster,
A question, or for anyone that can answer it, how accurate is the rifle barrel, the .22, in a gun like this? In general, obviously not for any particular rifle. Are these .22's capable of very good accuracy? Average? Or only a close range sort of proposition?
Thanks to anyone whom can comment.
In my TJF Schienen Drilling in 22 WRM ,barrel length 68 cm. The accuracy is very good About 1.5 cm between 2 shots at a 100 meters. That is on a day with no wind of course. The most precise round in my driling is CCI 30 grain TNT ,fun on crows. On Grouse and Capercaillie I prefer to use a 40 grain bullet.
