I've purchased a Krieghoff Ultra Bockbüchsflinte in 12 gauge (70mm chamber) over 30-06, with a Zeiss Diatyl Classic 6x42 in Suhler claw mounts. I know I have a good quality firearm which will suit my neds to a tee, but I am wondering if anyone can tell me their impressions of or experiences with the Krieghoff Ultra. This gun was bulit in 1986 and has the traditional soldered barrels (unlike newer models with free floated barrels) and full length rib.
