My Ruger #1 in 458 lott drove a Hornady soft point from posterior to personality on a Cape Buffalo in 1=2006 in Zim. Buf went nowhere. Had a .458 hole right through heart. Why I used soft point? That's all I had. we were set up to depart and the solids were packed.

My #1 in 450 Ne seems to work about the same way.
