Boys, got back from Zim, a couple weeks ago. My son and I went on a DG safari. We both used Ruger no. 1s, 375 H&H mags. Ammo was Hornady 300 gr. DGX and DGS. My son used factory loads, and I used handloads with the same bullets. We hunted with Martin Pieters Safaris, in the Omay North. Our ph was Scott Bailey, and he was absolutely fabulous. He and his cohort, Mike Blignaut, absolutely made the trip. Our hunt was all about fun, experiences, and adventure. We sure got all three! Here are a few pics from the hunt.
