Both my #1's immediately got a hanger bedding, prior to being shot. Some guns are OK, but I wasn't about to waste any ammo and get discouraged. I knew I could make them shoot. Both ended up being sub 1/2" rifles, a #1A 7Mauser and the #1B .218Bee.

#1's seem to be a love/hate rifle due to the bedding/shooting issues. I love the #1's, but both of mine are now owned by the same fellow. Not me.
