I am sure I am teaching grandmothers to suck eggs here but I take it you all know the forearm issues with Ruger No.1īs, there was an after market fix for this from Brownells called the Hicks accurizer (from memory). About 5 years ago I got my PH and mate in South Africa to buy for me a No.1 in .30-06 so I could use it there and not have to carry firearms on planes if after plains game, we fitted one, enough difference to make it worth the 30$ (from memory) Maybe they have changed the design and you donīt need this anymore, see article below
