You said that you sent an Email off to Ruger ?? do you mean 'Nioa' in Queensland as they are the Importer here in Australia. I suggest that 'Some-One' made a mistake putting Stainless rings with a Blued rifle. This has never happened with any Ruger products that I have purchased and I suggest that you speak in the first instance to the gun shop where you purchased it and he should swap it over.
