What you say about the stock sounds good. I guess the best thing i can do is to find someone with a No.1 in a B5 caliber and test it myself. The only problem is that i don`t think there is a singel No.1 450/400NE in Norway...... I know of a 458Win, so I belive i should test that one.

The rifle you ask about on my webpage is a Danish/Norwegian M1774/41/51 rifle. It startet as a flintlock musket in 1774, rebuildt into percusion in 1841 and got rifles and a new rear sight in 1851. It was actually buildt at Kronborg in Denmark around 1774.
