Hello. I'm new to this group and am interested in this topic as I'm in the process of restoring Fraser #1719.In trying to determine its date of manufacture, I was told that the Fraser legers have been lost but with so few rifles made, that it may be possible to estimate the date of manufacture if reliable dates can be determined for even a few rifles.The rifle starting this topic was said to have been made in 1904. Could you tell us what data lead to determining this date? It took me awhile to get registered but if the poster asking for pictures of the rear sight still needs them, I can post them as soon as I find out how to post pictures.
