Re: Ruger No.1 in .300H&H

Thanks, fellows. Greg, I think the temperature in the mornings over the last few weeks has been about seven degrees. Jeff, with the cold weather, I wanted to hike in style and have my tea-brewing facilities handy. Also, it is a new pack, and I wanted to give it a few little trial runs before loading it right up for an overnighter. Neale, I didn't recover the bullet; it exited, even though it smashed the spine (my whoops-a-daisy; not proud of that). I haven't yet got a chrony, but hope to someday. I haven't got a group photo yet, but have been able to put them at the top of a four-inch bull at one-hundred. The load is 70 grains of AR2213SC pushing a 180 grain Woodleigh PPSN, in Norma cases.
