Well, I've done it again...
I got into another gun in need of work, and of course it will take much more than anticipated.
This one, a Farquharson 450/400 needs a rebarrel - the chamber was pitted and the hope was that a setback and rechamber would clean it up. Not even close...
So, I am now in the position to decide what I want this gun to be.
It is a .500 sized frame and very stout. Too stout for the 450/400 really which would have been swell to shoot but just begging to be something bigger.
So, heres what I am thinking,
Either a 470 or a 450 No.2
Bullet selection has me leaning toward the 450 but the 470 is appealing in the event that I would need to sell it some day.
Any opinions?
