Hi Chris,

I agree fully to the point that the firearm as you know is in Melbourne and so is Ross Waghorn so Neil, the gentleman selling the rifle is going to get Ross to do the transfer and he will then do the stock re finish whilst it is down there. In that way it is in safe hands until the PTA arrives and then a little metalwork on the safety & bluing then it can come home.

I was just on the Federal Premium website and was looking at exactly that, a 130gn TSX and the .270 seems to have a nice trajectory. I know that they are expensive but the amount that I would use is more than offset in buying dies & cases etc. As for the engraving, well maybe one day but I will have to let the bank balance build up after the other projects. I already have the artwork that I was going to use on a No.1 a lot of years ago that was done by Bruce Dean in his heyday.
