My personal opinion is that if I want a really good new No1, get an old action and have it made to what I want. I am so unimpressed with my 450/400. The action is sloppy and a real shame compared to the nice tight actions of yore. Even the lever is as loose as a goose!

Ruger have really demeaned the No1 name with recent production rifles.
