I have one of the first 6 into Australia. I am disappointed with the tool marks that are left on it and mine wont shoot for sh*t. yes the safety sticks up a bit.I will get around to working on the bedding and pressure points plus have the safety re contoured. Should not have to do this. Another owner of a 303 No.1 has no complaints with the way his shoots. Like any rifle it is a bit hit and miss on the accuracy stakes.

The Stainless laminated 375 H&H No 1 I had shot 3 into an inch at 100 no trouble.
