Re: Drilling calibres in Australia

I seem to recall a Victorian inhabitant of another forum recently imported such a drillinge earlier this year, or do you have different usernames on different forums?

As far as I know Sauer stopped production on the 3000 at the end of the eighties and not that many were brought in by the Sauer dealer. Clayton's still had a M3000 in 12/12/6.5x57R on the wall lasttime I was there, and I've recently heard of a couple of higher grade M3000's in 7x65R & 8x57IRS being privately imported for less than Clayton's asking price.

Merkel do indeed still list the 9.3x74R in their 96K only problem is the last importer recently tripped on a rainbow and I've yet to hear who the new one is
