I suppose you've tried to track down the other pair? If you got hold on those too, you'd end up with two really nice guns!!

I've had such a drilling with two shotgun and one rifled barrel, but ended up selling and getting one with two rifled and one shotgunbarrel underneath. Better suited to big game hunting in my opinion. I do sometimes regret selling the other one, but the new one was a bit too expensive.

Germany has a very rich hunting culture, and the well situated landowners and managers often purchased these kind of guns for mixed hunting in the forest.
They're not really good for anything, but does a decent job on most hunting.

A pretty good compromise none the less! Lovely guns to own and use. The 16 and 20 ga are very well balanced. The 12 ga tend to be a bit too heavy with too much weight forward in the barrels. No need for 12 ga when you have a bullet ready for longer distances anyway.
