Kashmir lies on the border of India and Pakistan and is not a part of the ME rather it is in south east Asia.The Khyber pass rifles you refer to are made in Darra Adam Khel in the North West Frontier Orovince.Over the passage of time the people here have improved their technology and are making reliable rifles and other weapons.Some of these are also being exported.The 303 british is still being used by the locals since generations and for some it is the rifle.I have personally tried these rifles and have found them to be very accurate.
