I liked the fore end on the Gibbs I owned, and on my other British falling block rifles. Holding it steady was not an issue in the case of my Holland and this Whitetail.

As too the Rifle at Auction, how often do you see a Best Quality Gibbs with a top tang safety? I really think Huvis should have bought it. That way I could have played with it too.
