Definitely leave it as is. IIRC, 295 is the same as the 300 rook. Cases, dies and molds are available. I use a swaging die which is nice because it is possible to cut a .308" cast bullet to length and then push it through the die to swage it down to .300" All that is needed is to clean up the bullet base with a file but I bet that probably isn't really needed. Pictures would be nice - is it a hammerless or a side lever hammer gun? |
