A symphony of subtlty isn't it. I completly agree with you on styling, and like that you used a later action as an example. The way the top line of the stock blends to the action and on to the barrel is pure elegance. The earlier Farquharson actions and many of the modern actions have that abrupt step up at the rear of the action and it kills the flow to me.
I made a contact at the Dallas Safari club show with a British trained gunmaker now living in Texas. We had a nice conversation...long story short, I have a trained eye to help achive "The Look". I am so excited about it, I had a hard time sleeping after the show.
