Tom, No dramas to fit one of these at all. When you get the rifle all pulled down, it will all be quite obvious what is needed. As for being slow, I have not found them any slower than any of "the push forward to set" triggers. The only thing I have ever done to "improve" them is when fitting one, I checker the BACK of the trigger itself to allow a good non-slip surface to push against when setting it. They may not be as good as a double set system, but they do work very well. If anyone was not happy refining a Ruger No.1 trigger pull with the original components, and likes "set" triggers, the Kepplinger is a very useful alternative.
