Just to add to what Aussie Steve wrote,
Recoil is amazingly mild ... sure you know its gone off ... but if I had to shoot my 458AccRel (500gr at 2230fps in 10lb rifle) or this ... I'd take the No1!

I'm just dark that Ruger No1 actions/rifles are almost impossible to find at the moment! I'm keen to build one as well, but using the Varmint woodwork just to be different! And dont talk to me about mercury recoil reducers ... near impossible to source as well!
