I have never seen one in person or pictures/diagrams of the guts but always assumed/guessed they were a variant of the Borchardt from the length of the breech block. I have heard speculation that with Remington buying Dakota that the Model 76 and the Model 10 will likely be the only ones that survive out of the product line.
